Single Character Show NON-HOODED

Original Formula

Our original formula is designed to keep the show moving with action, starting with it’s theatrical style musical entrance. Some of us here take our superheroes seriously. You might find us sneaking around a corner or climbing over a small wall to find that "just Right" show-off entrance. The guys will always do our special blend of magic to music (real magic, not clown stuff) and the girl performers will generally take a softer approach with singing, or dress-up, or make-up/face painting as a warm up.

Next we will get everyone involved with games, including the adults hanging around (if they want to). It can be really fun to watch everyone do the Hokey Pokey or play the Chicken Dance, or just flap a parachute above the children's heads. It makes me laugh, hey, but that's just me.

To help make the birthday child feel extra special we make a home-made birthday scroll from a large sheet of paper and have all of the children sign and design it. This is done to music.

We then transition into the cake song and ceremony and designing balloon animals and cool stuff for the kids as they eat a slice of cake.

We will not forget to take those photo opportunities with you. Pictures with the character are important for that ever-so-often reflection back on that special occasion when we were kids.

With lots of items that we will customize for FREE, i.e. face painting, temporary tattoos, dress-up, arts-n-craft, clue and treasure hunts, or even help with your piñata. Customizing your party is a breeze.

The Hooded character show is performed somewhat like the above outline, however, it is modified due to the restraints placed upon a performer because of the costume size, visibility, maneuverability, etc. Please call for more info. Also, read Hosted Show below. The single Hooded Character show is perfect for events where other forms of entertainment are available or when a more passive performance is appropriate.

Hosted Character Show - Advance Formula

Let me say two things: Fantastic Show and Affordable Price! This new show blows the lid off typical children's entertainment character deliveries. It is one of our most popular shows. You see, the trouble with most hooded costumes is that they are big, hard to see out of, hard to move in, can't see the children very well, and can't perform certain elements of a performance due to the above reasons. And, quit often people can't hear the performer very well because of the big head.

With our hosted show we have taken care of all these hurtles. Here's how it works. The host enters first and greets the children and adults with theme music playing. They set up the supplies and performance materials and start the show. If it's a male performer they will do fun magic to Cool Music (Magic like exchange bags where objects appear from nowhere, disappearing silks, sponge balls, magic changing paddles and wands etc. Not typical cheap clown coloring book stuff). And if it's a female performer will sing or do dress up as an alternative entrance unless otherwise requested. This time allows the younger children to warm up to the performer and trust him/her which reduces FEAR of the hooded character when it enters. I can't tell you how important this is - you may have even seen a show where the kids were scared of the character. If there is a host, the kids don't have to be around the hooded character because the host runs the show. So, the show still ROCKS even if you have a few nervous kids. Now that really ROCKS.

After the magic, the host will play appropriate music and bring in the hooded character. They will take time for the children to hug and pictures with the Plush Character and then all will participate in games together. From this point it the performance will complete whatever you have customized into the formula. It's really great because the host can relate to the children and control the party better.
